Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ivory Freight and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. We reward reliability. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
