Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Bright Wren Freight and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a large organisation of about 399 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
