Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (Jackson, MS)

Nova Birch Freight Group is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
