Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Ivory Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Hartford. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
