Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Tucson, AZ)

Northwind Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Tucson, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
