Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Savannah, GA)

Highbridge West Environmental Services Group is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 644 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
