Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Harbor Freight and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
