Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Rochester, NY)

Summit Quarry Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of service complaints. • Experience with routing software.
