Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Cedar Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Rochester with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 54 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
