Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
