Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Nova Mill Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Fort Worth, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
