Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Redstone Drift Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
