Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Amberfield Sparrow Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Jackson with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
