Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Philadelphia, PA)

Highbridge Drift Freight is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
