Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind West Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
