Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Basin Freight and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 80 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
