Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Yarrow Freight and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. We reward reliability. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
