Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Jackson, MS)

Lumen Technologies is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling test reports on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
