Senior Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Hollow Freight Partners moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of about 941 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
