Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Spokane, WA)

Harborlight Stone Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Spokane area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
