Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Seattle, WA)

Nova Meridian Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in case files and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on constituent requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
