Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Drift Hospitality and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on food costs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
