Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Nova Beacon Water Authority and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
