Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Summit Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Jose. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
