Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Kestrel Water Authority and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 675 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
