Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Wren Environmental Services Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Investigate trends in service complaints and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
