Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Foxglove Maple Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Sacramento, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
