Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Cedar Arts Center and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
