Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Harbor Telecom Partners builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Sacramento area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We invest in training. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
