Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Ember Markets is a Rochester retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
