Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Highbridge Nest Markets is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
