Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Clearpath North Insurance Partners sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Rochester, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
