Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Bright Forge Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Rochester presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in exhibitions and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on event logistics. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
