Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Clearpath Corner Medical is a Rochester company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Investigate trends in clinical evaluations and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
