Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Mill Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Rochester region. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in service connections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage response. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
