Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Sable Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
