Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Rowan Hospitality is a hospitality company in San Jose with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on guest bookings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
