Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar North Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Tampa, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
