Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Westbrook Junction Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Austin plant. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lines. • Python or R for analysis.
