Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Fernwood Corner Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Austin region, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
