Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Silverline Lantern Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Baltimore, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
