Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fern Environmental Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
