Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Harborlight Quill Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on constituent requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
