Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Amberfield Mill Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Kansas City, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
