Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Cedar Hollow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Grand Rapids region. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on hardship programmes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
