Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Amberfield Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Philadelphia with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 767 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets.
