Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Ironwood Bright Staffing Group is a Austin staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
