Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Quill Civic Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 827 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
