Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Stonegate Corner Insurance is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 754 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
