Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (remote)

Summit Stone Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Fort Worth region, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 99 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
